COADE STONE

Coade stone is a type of architectural ceramics in the form of unglazed stoneware used to decorate the interiors, facades and  roofs of a wide range of buildings and It can also appear in the form of garden ornament. It was made at the Coade factory in Lambeth, London, from 1769 onwards.
